The Indian market gained strength in the before closing hours of trade. With the Nifty closing hits above 10,000 for the first time ever. The BSE sensex closed strongly higher by over 150 points.
The 30-share Sensex closed higher 154.19 points or 0.48 percent at 32382.46, it was touched a high leves of 32,413.63 and touch a low of 32,226.08.
The 50-share Nifty index closed touch a new levels 56.10 points or 0.65 percent at 10020.65, it was touch a high of 10,025.95 and touch a low of 9,965.95.
The market broader was narrow as 1349 shares advanced against a decline of 1332 shares, while 176 shares are unchanged.
Nifty Top gainers- Yes bank 5.82%, Vedanta 2.44%, Indusindbk bank 2.44%, Sun pharma 2.40%, Tata Steel 2.31%.
Nifty Top Losers- Idea Cellular 3.22%, Axis bank 2.95%, Zee Entertainment 1.49%, Asian paints 1.40%, ACC 1.14%.
