After Three day market consolidation, while today equity benchmarks hits one month closing low Tuesday. Sensex down over 100 points.
The BSE Sensex closed 179.96 points or 0.58% at 30958.25, it was touched a high of 31294.96 and touch a low of 30847.08 and The 50-share Nifty index ended decline 63.55 points or 0.66% at 9511.40, it was touched a high of 9,615.40 and touch a low of 9473.45.
Bank Index India's biggest lender State Bank Of India falls 3.3 percent while Bank Of Baroda decline as much as 4.8 percent to it's lowest price since Jan 23.
PNB, Canara bank, Allahabad bank, Andhra bank and Union bank were down 2-5 percent while private bank like M&M, Axis bank, HDFC bank and ICICI bank slipped 0.6-2 percent.
Nifty Top Gainers- IOC 1.77%, Gail 1.54%, Bharti Airtel 1.32%, ONGC 1.20%, Hero Motocrop 1.09%, Tata Steel 0.98%, TataMtrdvr 0.60%, Lupin 0.47%, VEDL 0.44%, Adani ports 0.37%.
Nifty Top Losers- Bank of baroda 4.20%, ACC 3.73%, ZEEL 3.72%, Ultra Cements 3.19%, SBIN 3.10%, BPCL 2.99%, Axis Bank 2.11%, BOSCHLTD 2.08%, Asian paints 1.88%.
