The stock market today ended in red with flat note amid consolidate, after 2 percent rising in previous two consecutive trading day. The nifty remained 8500. Investors waited for major industries quarterly earning.
Closing update- The BSE Sensex ended up 7.04 points or 0.03 percent at 27815.18, it was touched a high of 27928.76 and touch a low of 27752.14.
The NSE Nifty index closed down 1.55 points or 0.02% at 8519.50, it was touched a high of 8550.25 and touch a low of 8493.55.
About 1734 shares declined against 1013 advancing shares on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The broader market underperformed with the BSE Midcap down 0.5 percent and BSE Smallcap index falling 0.8 percent.
