Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30-share benchmark index opened at 26510.29, with weakness in the morning 12.8 points and 41.84 points or 0.16 per cent to close at 26481.25. it was Intraday Sensex touched high 26604.65 and touch a low of 26438.32.
National Stock Exchange (NSE) 50-share sensitive index opened at 8026.50 up 17.65 points, with the Nifty index 21.75 points or 0.27 percent to close at 8022.40 with a loss. it was touch a high of 8057.15 and touch a low of 8005.15 in trade today.
BSE Mid-cap and smallcap index also fell today, Midcap index was closed 32.75 points down at 10161.25 while smallcap index dropped 35.71 points at 10661.85.
Cairn, Cipla, Boschltd, Wipro, Dr. Reddy’s, Sun pharma share lower and VEDL, Hindalco, ICICI bank, Power Grid, Gail, Ambuja cements top gainers today.
