After a consolidation, The NSE Nifty ended higher for the sixth consecutive session on Wednesday, Supported by banking & Financial and metals stocks. Weakness in European peers limited the upside. Equity benchmarks started off day on a strong note with the Sensex rising more than 100 points but immediately wiped out those early gains to consolidate.
Market Closing update- The Sensex closed up 27.82 points or 0.11% at 25844.18, it was touched a high of 25956.34 and touch a low of 25716.81.
The 50-share Nifty Index flat 0.05 points up at 7914.75, it was touched a high of 7950.40 and touch a low of 7877.55.
Nifty Gainers- Tata Steel 6.53%, Hindalco Inds 4.89%, Axis Bank 3.11%, Bank of baroda 3.07%, Gail 2.28%, Wipro 2.15%, Tech-mahindra 1.44%, Power Grid 1.40%, Tata power 1.36%.
